Something I thought of after being mad at a show I was watching!

Please listen to my heart it has so much to say

It knows you been through so much 

My heart knows you just want love

You shove me to the side just to spite

My love seems such a simple matter

My heart hardly seems to be recognized

My tears come like rolling thunder

I must have been riding some kind of high

I am waking up the devil inside

He is rattling the cage just waiting to get out

He is here to put up a fight for my love

Might lock it up and throw away the key

Please listen to my heart it has so much to say

It has been through so much 

My heart just needs love 

I shove you to the side just to spite

My love was just a striptease

Taking off a bit here and there

Taking it off nice and slow 

Before you know it its all off

I am waking up the devil inside

He's out of this cage a ready to fight 

Are you willing to fight to hear my heart?

Are you willing to fight for my love or will the devil inside win?

I like the lines above. Love is a constant battle to know peace and happiness. I like the way you led me to the strong ending. I like the poetry that end with a question. Make the reader think a little. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
