Finding Your Voice

Just a quote I found and wrote a poem based on it =)

Yelling and screaming at the top of your lungs yet no one can hear you.

Stretching your voice as far as it can go.

You have something important to say,

Yet, Its only a whisper than no one can hear.

You feel like no matter how hard you try your words are never loud enough.

Nothing you do will let you be known.

The words fall down a deep hole of darkness.

Your cause goes unjustified.

Trying once more to get your voice known.

This time you get a microphone hoping this would help.

Alas, your efforts are no good.

Feeling like you are on mute never to be Un-muted 

Just about to give up you look inside your heart.

You fear that you are not worthy enough to be heard.

Your voice is just not good enough.

Suddenly, you feel a change for the better.

Now you can be heard far and wide.

Your mute button has been lifted.

Just look inside your heart and you will find your voice.

Wow... this piece is very well done. Everyone has a voice to be heard and sometimes it is hard to express our thought sand feeling without getting ridiculed or completely ignored. You portrayed the scene of not having a voice to finally being heard very well. :)
