Obsessed much?

My social media poem lol

Oh, Facebook and Pinterest, how you are very distracting.

I try to write but you seem to get in the way.

I try not to look but it's so hard.

Facebook and Pinterest what am I going to do?

I love both of you maybe one more than the other.

Pinterest you have so many crafts to make and clothes for goodness sake.

Cleaning Ideas galore. 

I could spend an hour looking, maybe even more.

Facebook, you have all my friends in one spot.

Status updates funny or not. 

Games of all shape and sizes 

Games where you try to win prizes.

Will I ever leave you?

I don't think that would do.

Trying not to look is so very hard. 

Facebook and Pinterest what am I going to do?

Oh, Look  it's twitter too. 

You tweet, tweet all day long.

Sometimes even spelling some words wrong. 

I bet you someone has tried to tweet a song.

Social media what should we do?

Is it you that needs me or Is it I that needs you?

Oh, Facebook and Pinterest even twitter too. 

YouTube, Bing and Google to boot.

So many it's hard to choose.

It's no wonder we get confused.

For now, I will stick with one or the other.

Or I will just have to pick another. 

Maybe even Writers-cafe. org.

umm hahahaha lol it was very funny it was great your imagination was good in this poem and sometimes we just stick to the internet so badly that we forget everything else and specially to the people who are crazy about pinterest (like me ) when you look at their boards only one of the boards will have thousands of pins as they stick only on one topic as you see sorry if i am typing too much but even i have a crazy relation with the internet okay now i have to stop typing . thanks for sharing this beautiful piece of writing :)

Hahahahahah, I love this, mainly because I can totally relate. Facebook and Pinterest are both extremely distracting, I could waste hours with them.. Hahahha(:

Anyways, this part:

"Facebook, you have all my friends in one spot.
Status updates funny or not.

I think the last line is supposed to be "Games where you try to win prizes."
Just a suggestion. But you did a beautiful job with this, definitely showed how addicting social networking can be.

Haha, yes I really like this! People do get obsessed with all of these social websites. I used to log onto Facebook almost every day. But it got so old, very fast! The girls on there was too messy and different people posting statuses that were way too vulgar. I do like Pinterest though! But it's not addicting to me. I do have to say I'm really addicted to YouTube. I'm a music fan all of the way, so it makes it extremely hard to stay off of the website. And last, writerscafe.org I love it since it's where I received friends that became practical family. I love to write so it makes sense! Again, a cute poem about addictive websites that pull teens and young adults in more and more each and everyday! Bravo, well done Amanda!! :)
