A Chapter by Nickalas Cannon

McKenzie is sitting in her home with one light on. She has a recording device hooked up to the walkie-talkie, while she listens to the station she found earlier today. There's nothing but a buzz sound, she was about to call it quits until someone spoke through it. "Professor, how long will this take? We are in 2054 and you put them into a time that they weren't in, forty-two to fifty-four years ago. What is the point on this?" McKenzie realizes something, that she knows who that person was that was speaking, it was Samantha. "This is to prove that we, human beings, can be in any timeline, share memories and can still be the same person. We are coming to a great invention, and making a historical event." Someone else speaks, someone different but seems familiar, "I agree with Samantha, there is no point and why would it take this long." It fades out and she jumps up and calls John. "Hello." "Hey, come over to my place, I have some information."

An hour later, John arrives to McKenzie's house and steps inside. "Come here John, listen to this." She plays the recording back to the conversation. It stops and they both look at each other, curious to what is going to happen and what is going on. "So, they are alive, but Samantha said 'We are in 2054,' why would she say that?" "I don't know, I don't know John." He looks over, "That was my wife after that man spoke." "So, she is alive, like you said." They just look at each other, in the dim lit room.
