Emily Blunt wows in demure floor length orange gown as she celebrates the 58th BFI Film Festival atA Story by likerEmily Blunt wows in demure floor length orange gown as she celebrates the 58th BFI Film Festival at IWC gala As one of Hollywood's leading ladies, she is frequently referred to as a bright young thing. But actress Emily Blunt was exactly that when she attended the IWC gala dinner in an orange dress on Tuesday. The 31 year-old stunned onlookers in the designer, floor-length gown, which featured white paneling and capped sleeves for a demure aesthetic. With her hair worn up in a dramatic bun, she exuded class as she posed on the red carpet at London's Battersea Evolution, which was hosting the dinner to celebrate the BFI's 58th Film Festival. She matched the look with a pair of delicate earrings and, of course, an IWC Schaffhausen watch - which is one of the world's leading brands. Alongside Cate Blanchett. Christopher Waltz and Ewan McGreggor, Blunt stars in the company's marketing campaigns. The International Watch company are considered the Rolls Royce of watches and their prices range from £1,000-£20,000, but unlike many of their competitors they are classy, elegant and discreet. While entertaining the press, Waltz was seen playfully kissing her hand. Looking sharp-suited in his tuxedo, the 58 year-old was clearly delighted to be at the event. Other stars who were there in equally-striking attire including Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer, who attended in a plunging trouser suit. Sharing her fashion sense was Daisy Lowe, who opted for a similar - but less revealing - incarnation. Naturally, Daisy and Natalie also sported glamorous IWC watches. Sir Mick Jagger retained his rock-n-roll sense of style, wearing skinny trousers with a blazer and a white scarf. He appeared in good spirits, flashing a broad smile and visibly embracing the evening's festivities. No doubt part of his renewed joy stems from recently becoming a great-grandfather for the first time. Allen Leech and his partner Charlie Webster cut monochromatic figures in their safe style, while veteran actress Julie Walters sported a bold, purple trouser suit. Model Erin O'Connor braved a more daring ensemble, which included a dramatic burgundy dress. Other stylish attendees included Esther Freud and her handsome husband, David Morrissey, plus Michael Pitt and Clara Paget. Less successful attempts at fashion were John Hurt and his wife Anwen Rees-Myers who brandished his-and-her colour schemes, Julian Fellowes' wife Emma and Sam Rollinson. Charlotte Wiggins wasn't far behind in her sheer dress with immodest paneling. The evening marks the 58th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express, which launches on 8th October and will run until 19th October. A pinnacle in the UK’s cinematic calendar and a globally recognized event which draws some of the most celebrated talent from the film industry; The BFI London Film Festival previews a taste of the greatest offerings in film for the year ahead. The partnership with the BFI London Film Festival follows IWC Schaffhausen’s long tradition of supporting film-making projects " evidenced by its established partnerships with the Tribeca Film Festival, the Dubai International Film Festival, the Beijing International Film Festival and the Zurich Film Festival, demonstrating IWC’s passion for film.
