Stars aligned in the dark, smoky sky

While we said our final goodbyes

Change is never easy they say

However, it makes you stronger everyday

It takes your comfort and replaces it with longing

But do not worry; you will soon grow to ignore that mocking

That voice of the past, reminding you of what was

Will soon turn to eyes of the future, imagining peaceful white doves

Soon you will not forget but to learn to live with that hole

And when that second comes, all the joys of tomorrow you will behold
