Craving

Craving

A Poem by Nia Shand

I can't see her face

I can't feel her touch

Part of me hates her

But the other part of me wants her

No, craves her

I've never seen her face

Nor felt her touch

But I want to

No, need to

I want to feel the warmth of her body pressed against mine

I need to hear her say my name

I crave her eyes, her hands, her breast, her lips

But I also crave him...

A surprise ending to a beautiful poem. I like the gentle emotion and detail of the desire to touch her body. A very good ending to a well written poem. A excellent poem. Thank you.

This SHOCKED me for sure! But I loved it (: Emotion is practically dripping from every word in this. You make the reader want her, too. Excellent piece, Nia. (: This is definitely one of my favorites.
