Finally 18A Poem by Nia HopeHappy birthday to me :)Technically it is legal Since now I am 18 To go run off and be a w***e And in the bed be queen If I so chose to have a smoke I wouldn't get in trouble Hookah vape cigarette or cigar Don't try to burst my bubble Won't have to listen to my folks Don't have to hear them whine I can make my own rules now I'll color outside the line But I'm not like that, that's not who I am I wouldn't choose to sleep around I wouldn't choose to smoke I wouldn't choose to diss my fam I'm not making a joke I'll always be that short a*s nerd You see with marching band I'll always be that strong little girl With privates lacking sand Independent I've always been I'm 18 now (whoopie) I can stay out past city curfew But that will not change me.
