Light This Useless Bush on Fire!

Light This Useless Bush on Fire!

A Poem by Haley Smith
"

America's finest. what a joke.

"

how can you call yourself a leader?

what kind of leader brings down his own country?

how can you call yourself a president?

what kind of president sends soldiers overseas

only to get bombed in the back and fall to their knees?

and for what?

satisfaction

for picking up the pieces

that your daddy left behind?

and for what?

pushing for the finding of

imaginary weapons

so you have a peace of mind?

well here's a piece of my mind;

you're no leader of mine

i pray for the day when you put on your thinking cap

because clearly you can't register

the big ol' gap in your presidential map

where is everything going

why can't anything be worthy of showing?

it's all dispersed and reversed,

so overly rehearsed!

everything's disconnected

and you are rejected

amongst your nation

no longer is there any justification

you're wrong, you're wrong

so long, so long

A brillant poem for a great and artistic poet!
How can anyone in this life time sum up the most dreadful and deceitful politician this country has seen since it's very begining??? You did a very good dam job my dear!
And this country thought Richard Nixon was a crook???
He was a mere boy scout compared to this clown!
A great right to the point poem that show's us Jan. 20, 2009 (inauguration day) just can't come quick enough for anyone in this country!
This clown single handley destroyed this great nation in those 8 years!
Spat on, with this one my dear!!!!
Keep writing form your soul, for the good of all souls!
Always,
TIM

Do you think YOU could be a president? It's hard work.
Don't be so down on him, even if he's not GREAT. He'd probably be better than you, no offense, but yanno... Do you get my point?

Being a republican myself, I do have to say he makes us all look bad. Not all of us Republicans are like him. I do agree with your views in this piece.

You took the words right out of my mouth, and I couldn't agree with you more. These are dark days in American history.

Weeelll, this, i think was the most honest and accusing poem of the president i have ever read. I think it is really cool, and for the rhyming patter, it all makes it a honest, complete poem. If you made every line rhyme, it probably would have sounded more fake and posh.
So it's really gooodd! I love the way you think.
