Mother Earth and Father Forest

Mother Earth and Father Forest

A Poem by newyearnorma

I want to disappear, to find some peace
I long to find a cave somewhere and curl up in, to go back to Mother Earth
To let her wrap me in her protective arms.
Letting my head rest on her mother's chest, feeling the stress leaving my body

I want to disappear to find some peace
I long to run into the cool forest, to run back to Father Forest.
To have him hold me in a father's embrace and have him tell me everything will be okay
Holding his strong hand in mine, feeling joy return to my heart
