courage to tell you

courage to tell you

A Poem by newyearnorma

i could be the one your run to with your problems

when the world feels crazy

i would be your shoulder to cry on

the one to hold you up and let you know that its going to be ok

i could be the one that tells you that you are perfect

that i love your eyes and your hair

that you smile makes the sun shine brighter

that your laughter goes straight to my soul

i would be your lover and friend

i would be the one you could call your own, that would never stray or go away

i would do all these things if you just let me

maybe you would if i ever got the courage to tell you

Beautiful...

The sadness of the poem is chronic shyness causing one heart so full of love to have to go unrequitted all because the lips can never express it's love. This is so touching, a message to all in the famous words ~ Fain heart never won fair lady ~ or ~ nothing ventured nothing gained ~ so go for it what's the worse can happen. He says no so what he may say yes, love the poem, keep em' coming
