broken promises

You promised so many things

and i believed you

When i was afraid, you promised to never hurt me

When i said i was afraid to lose you, you promised to never leave me

When we planned to runaway and get married in vegas and i asked if you meant it, you promised you did

When you promised you wanted to have a baby with me

I believed all of these, and you broke them all

You didnt turn out to be much of a superman did you?

You told a complete story in this short poem. I like the honest and direct words in this poem. The ending was very good. Sometime we must learn the hard way. At least you did not get marry and escape a bad journey. Thank you for the excellent poem.
