Ra and LunaA Poem by bellaJust my version of the love story between the moon and the sun Their love letters/correspondence between them is what the poem consists of
To Luna,
You brighten even the darkest parts of the wold I love every curve and blemish I could spend hours studying them To Ra, My love, my light comes from your beauty an internal glow even the blind can see if only I could feel it how I yearn for your warmth on cold, lonely nights To Luna, Please do not credit me so for light would not be possible without dark surely you rule the stars I will forever worship you as my queen To Ra, I am no queen as I patiently wait For your every move, a slave if anything the plants grow and the earth prospers for you the people sacrifice health for beauty for you To Luna, I could never allow someone of your unmatched beauty to be a slave, as butterflies need to fly freely but the oceans move for you the shore and water have fallen in love for you To Ra, They've fallen in love like I've fallen for you the heart wants what it cannot have the shore and sea are blessed they sneak little moments of intimacy To Luna, I pray for eclipses Your touch fulfills my deepest fantasies enchanting and addicting I tell the stars about you they understand, they're waiting for a collision too To Ra, That's not long enough for me I pray for the universe to explode Only you, me and the stars The others keep us apart To Luna, Maybe someday, till then wish for seconds I must rise now my dear illuminate the world so they may live to see you once more -Love Ra To Ra I swear to you I do I must sleep now my love Drift into dreams only to see you Set to allow you to be king -Love Luna
