BLANCO Y NEGRO - WHITE AND BLACK

BLANCO y NEGRO

Somos pájaros migratorios,

la mar salobre,

que trae mundos lejanos,

con olor a canela,

camino y mujeres ,

telas bordadas, caras morenas,

la mar salobre con olor a alga,

peces plateados,

focas suaves y despreocupadas,

me invitan en su canto;

el águila surca el cielo,

círculos de magia,

antes de devorar su presa…….

como si en su baile,

nos mostrara la fuerza del viento,

la naturaleza y la vida.

Blanco y negro,

modesto y arrogante,

cruzando los cielos,

sentada en primera fila,

aplaudiendo a rabiar…….

WHITE and BLACK

We are migratory birds,

the salty sea,

brings far away worlds,

with a scent of cinnamon,

road and women,

embroidered cloths, brown faces,

the salty sea with a scent of

seaweed, silver fish,

seals, soft and carefree,

invite me in their song,

the eagle furrows the sky,

circles of magic,

before devouring its prey….

as if in its dance,

we are shown the  strength of the

wind, nature and life.

White and black,

modest and arrogant,

crossing the skies,

seated in the front row,

applauding passionately…….

Lovely.
I read your poetry twice a time to understand or study the depths of "White & Black" like what's exactly how it could be interpreted along with your very words... & finally, I got, it's expressing lovers as birds who furrows the skies in a search of their destiny, they walk the "white and black" (means, "peaceful and painful" roads together to meet where their heart residing. It's the nature's game that wherever you move, stride and pace, you find world "multi-passionate" (which means, you already mentioned, "Kaleidoscopic") that shows you the variety of things. It shows you "Marine Algae" which brings peace, but it also shows you the power - one "strength" - of mighty winds that may have force to shatter those everything, the power of waves may destroy/erode seaweeds (that's been white, a once, a long ago but now turns to black) .. & on & on ... Eagle's free bird that soars through the sky (in winds) & indulge "his food" in the brace of shakes, just in few blinks ... so this's nature that sometimes is "White" (peaceful" so sometimes is "Black" (devastating). In the process of that, life's always breathing especially the one that's walked with someone the heart's infatuated with since 'eons. Excellent poetry. Enjoyed reading it. The thing I love 'bout it is the choice of your words which impacting many hearts for sure!

I agree with your thoughts and logic in this poem.
"the salty sea,
brings far away worlds,
with a scent of cinnamon,
road and women,"
I believe we are connected. The wind, sea and earth. We all must share. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
