Waiting

Waiting for someone, who may never come back but still you hope.

So what if it is a day,

it is still darkness behind the charcoal clouds

Slowly dispersing, offering a false ray of hope

Marred by the wind gushing in faster, stronger

bringing with it another thunderstorm

More clouds, more darkness, more sadness

It is a cold, wet day

It drizzles and gushes for hours

Until the last drops get their chance

To kiss the love drenched earth alas

The sky has cleared, blue visibile. 

Sun however is behind the distant hill.

Maybe I will have to wait through the night.

Another long unsure wait, hoping for its sight.

how much of human life is lost in waiting. moreover growth is painful, change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you dont belong. And yes, it is hard to move on considering the fact that once those people who have left you once meant everything to us. ver y beautiful New Theory. :)
