Blink Of MomentA Poem by New TheoryFeeling that old kiss like it just happened again. And here we are in the brink again In this occasion of an opportune black night I sit in this dark, empty room, As you occupy my once empty mind. Thoughts of our past flashing with each blink of tired, weary eyelids Begging me for a sleep, Inching a little bit more closer to madness, to insomnia, to a certain Transcendence where you are right here beside me, even when you are not Physically. You talk, you smile, you ask me "Why do you love me so much?" While all I want to do is "Kiss that sweet nectar off your lips" It courses through my veins to the tips of my fingers Jolting every little cell of my body from sleep. Reaching out to you, like iron filings to a magnet. I stay that way for that infinite moment Passing away like nothing has happened in reality. None knowing that I lived an entire lifetime in that blink of moment.
