Lost PrayerA Poem by New TheoryA prayer, just one wish That I had for me, selfish as it may seem. I prayed to you, sent it to the heavens. My patience seeming to wear off, Who do I ask? Why did this happen? All around me akin to silence. For that one moment of happiness, Where do I search? Don't know how the sands, kept slipping through my hands. Can't fathom what other sadness lay in front of me. Life losing it's meaning. Alone in search of that wish. that I had sent to heavens. Must haven't reached high enough Falling somewhere I know not of. If you find it, do find me. And if you do, Would you help me. To send it above to the creator?
