Farewell

Farewell

A Poem by New New

All you've ever done was act on impulse
Not bothering to think for even a second
Your life permanently set on the fast track
No hopes of ever slowing down
No concern for anyone but yourself

You have filled me with nothing but hate
Warm smiles slowly decayed to cold glares
My emotions worn thin and my body so weak
You have destroyed me, without looking back

So the day came where you put on the brakes
This is not the world you once knew
Always so focused on yourself,
Failed to notice us all slip away

Good riddance, you won't be missed.
