If The World Is Small To A Star

A poem about feeling homesick for a place you've never been due to distance from a loved one.

The world is like a spec in space 

You're the only one that I'd embrace 

If given a chance 

We could dance

I'd fly yonder 

For our love to grow fonder 

You're like a dream 

But I'm bursting at my seam 

This feeling is hard to escape 

So fix me up with tape 

I can't see you here 

I don't feel your body near 

If the world is small to a star 

Why do you feel so far
