A poem I wrote for my boyfriend

What can I do 

I can't really help you 

There's nothing I can say 

That will make the stress and fatigue go away 

Baby, please don't cry 

Just sleep tonight, it's not good bye 

I'm here again tomorrow 

I wish I could help with your sorrow 

Darling please don't drown 

Don't get consumed by the frown 

I love you, so honey please 

I may joke and I may tease 

But don't forget to care for yourself 

Look after your mind and your health

My boyfriend is going through a really stressful time, and because I live so far away I can't be there to physically comfort him. So I wrote him a poem instead.

Your concern for your beau is so heartening - if remember right you only used to write when you needed to express your pain and sadness but this - this here is a departure of seismic proportions because you are encouraging your love and buoying his Self to stay positive. Thats is a paradigm shift in your use of the written word. You're helping yourself as well as brightening his day. I love that.

thats very sad. I really hope he gets better, and i know that distant relationships are hard but its very amazing that you still try to make him feel better. I hope everything get better. And take care of him and yourself
