A poem about bodies of water.

Blue feilds 

Endless 

Met with pastel air 

And amythst clouds 

Blue fields twinkling 

Blue fields make waves 

Blue fields make perfect sense 

With geometry and angles 

Blue fields

Blue, and not a spec of green

It's as if peering into a gemologist's bag while they're on an expadition of some alien planet of sapphire. The medley of color is tantalizing. It's a beautiful account of a perfect day on the beach.

Hi Ariana - you conveyed a dreamscape quite effectively here.
Theres a lot more to this than meets the eye - the opening is like a landscape view of the sea and horizon with the gorgeous imagery in these lines "Met with pastel air ...And amethyst clouds"
then the beauty - the complex and hypnotic beauty of the sea with endless shapes becoming apparent before disappearing like metaphors of lives with their transient nature and rapid replacement in the whole sea of Life.
I felt that Infinity and loss are explored aspects here - feeling 'all at sea' - no port to call into - no green - no land. I liked this. :)

I remember experiencing a similar thought when looking out of a an airplane window - going on vacation - the plane was at 30,000 feet and the clouds below looked so much like a landscape that I wrote a poem about it too. Great minds eh Arianna ;)
