A sad take on my only feeling

The unfortunate price you have to pay

All the sweetness that's ripped away 

The more bitter do you become 

Less than perfect heartbreaks count more than one 

A pain so deep you have to cry 

Tears that sting every eye 

Misinformation about a feeling 

Can leave you reeling, reeling, reeling 

Reeling - stuck 

Reeling into a rut 

You're done for, you're through 

No one cares anymore about you

You could live, but no - you die 

You could smile, but you only want to cry 

A feeling you thought was perfect 

Left you broken and wrecked 

How could they do this to you? 

How could you do this to you? 

How could perfection break? 

Will it still hurt after tomorrow's wake?
