Found this laying around

The lies hurt

They lie to you

And they lie to me

These untruths are hurtful

But I pretend they’re wonderful

Because I wouldn’t know how to be

Without these things I can’t unsee

Or unhear

Or unbreathe

Because a lie to me

Is something I can’t see

With no eyes

I hear these lies

And they kill me so

But I wouldn’t know

I see myself

From behind the glass

Maybe if I smiled

Someone would want me

Maybe if I laughed for real

Someone would help me heal

Maybe if the lies went away

I wouldn’t have this hurt stay

Lies are bound

I hear their sound

They cry to me

And I feel pain

They cry, you see

And I live in vain

If I steal

It doesn’t hurt

It’s better for me

I don’t care for you, I’m curt

I’ll use you

Disposable

I could care less

I’m just a mess

Feel hurt

Feel bad

Just for me

It’ll make me feel pretty

Maybe if you look at me

I’ll feel more than good

I won’t care about you

But care about me

Because I need it

I need some attention

It’s never enough

Give me more

I need it if I’m just a w***e

I need it more and more

But I’ll never be satiated

Give me more

Give me all

This is deep Ariana. Its cohesive though and not rambling - theres a clear path through it. The different attributes of what makes a socio-path are represented however there may be a tad too much guilt here for a true socio-paths profiling.
Its a unique offering and I like it. Thanks for sharing this one :))

I did a short-term deep and thorough research period about psychopaths and sociopaths a while ago. Sociopaths are very capable of feeling remorse because they are developed, as opposed to being born that way with a psychopath.

Sure. Being messed up doesn't mean you're not creative. If anything they would be more likely to write a poem. Just because they can be murderous doesn't mean they aren't creative.

The sociopath feels and cares for nothing. They don't even enjoy what they do; they do it because they have to - it's part of their internal wiring (through birth deffect or childhood trauma) that drives them to do what they do. Some of them are capable of reigning in their urges and deal with them in different ways (in their jobs), however, in a small percentage of cases the sociopath gives-in to those urges so they can experience brief relief from that which drives them. I am not sure your poem reflect the sociopath but it certainly describes a number of traits linked to it. Good write!

I researched a lot to be honest, and this was sort of my conclusion. The end to my phase where I was so interested with psychopaths and sociopaths.
