I get sad a lot and I cry out poems

Cherry blossom tea

Isn't sweeter than you

But when I drink it

You're all I can remember

It's sweet, not bitter

I've always been a quitter

But with my love for you

The end is not coming soon

I had to come here when I read your review on Calamity's poem.
I think you're right - you do both have similar styles. I like the hope in yours too.
The first line reminds me of Nirvana's tune - Penny Royal Tea (which I love) and I find the comparison of tea to the person loved quite beautiful.
