Various remnants of heartbreak - Poem 6

I get sad a lot and I cry out poems.

If lightning struck me 

Your touch would heal the burn 

Your voice would soothe my ashen skin 

And stop my belly's churn 

If lightening struck me 

I wouldn't feel surprised 

As much as if you came back 

Your pretty eyes 

Are my only skies 

And when your gone I'm in darkness

You're actually not bad. Though, you need to work on punctuation and such. You know, commas, periods. Otherwise you read a poem as one long sentencing without taking a break for breath.

My grandpa is a poet, he used to blog his poems.
He doesn't update it anymore, but he definitely is a poet.
I think that's where I got it from.

His style is very different from mine however.
