she ends up in misery... yet again

A Story by Mk.t.g

o1: it all goes down… once again

She was so warm by the fire, engulfing herself in the tiny sparks, decorating her body with those flames - everything seemed so momentary, so temporary. she didn't realize when the fire had died down, or when the room turned pitch black, and she was sitting there, melting into the couch, shuddering and whimpering, her eyes darting around for help, but her head rests itself, knowing no one would save her from this drowning, just as no one had the last time.

o2: is it the same damn place?

when was she standing in a field so barren and so much like a stranger, yet so populated and so much like an old friend? she looked around, and all she felt was the utter familiarity she had from the wind, it was so strong, and stingy and somber and sullen… had it hit her face before too?

o3: it surely is…

she was stripped of her warmth, of her clothes and was impelled to stand there yet again, while the cruel wind wraps her up, like a mother embracing her child… she didn’t ask for this, did she? so, why did she have to come back here after having ran away in the past, to save the few weary breaths she had left?

o4: the end… maybe

so she ran on the treadmill… yet again, wearing a weary smile, a somewhat experienced smile… all this had happened before, so this time, she would wait for spring too, spring came by previously, and it went ever so quicky… so she waits for spring to knock at her door, sit at her doorstep, and she will take its hand and enjoy the few moments of heaven yet again-
