Do you feel the heat now?
Do you feel the hotness surging inside you?
How's it like getting radiation?
How's it like getting attention?

Baby, I got them while back
I went through them
And … believe me
It was too hot

Waves of hotness

Would hit me so hard
That I tried to keep away 
But then I lost radiation
And I lost attention
and I lost connection
With this world

Keeping it low
I decided to run back home
Cos' the heat was too much 
And the apathy would hit in
I lost the interest to actually interact

Since one interaction 
Was enough for me to tell ya'
That baby … you'll regret wanting attention

My views are my own... but I try to say enough for the author to gain a thought about how I understood their work. Perhaps my view expands on their thoughts or intent...and sometimes a "snarky" comment is NOT meant in any mean way... just a real way.
