There was a time

A time so precious

There were moments 

Moments so precious

There was good and bad

All sort out with reasoning

There was love and hate

All sort out with a little bit of talk

But there was a spark

A spark that ignited

Ended up burning you and me within it

The spark of doubt … between us

Doubt is so powerful. So much more powerful than hope, sad to say. Doubt exists every where. I really liked your title. It only takes a spark of doubt to create a fire that will destroy what was once built between two people. Wonderfully penned. Tyfs

True, once the feelings of misunderstanding develop in a relationship, there is no going back. Doubts are the only thing that can actually build cracks around your relationship, and without a warning, they will break down everything, that was once there.

Doubt has many faces and all its faces are deadly to a relation. Once it worms its way in, trouble always ensues. That is my experience, anyway. If only a little talk could dispel doubt, but disbelief soon follows to end that hope. Accurate theme, Mk. Truth in your words.
