It talks about how the person wants the treatment he gave to the other back. He wants to be loved, just like he loved the other.

Love is strange. You can give it but it doesn’t mean you can expect to receive it in return. It is a gift after all. When another feels the same way you have a little but if heaven, but there are no guarantees. Loving comes easy to some and us aloof with others. I enjoyed the read. Happy new year Mk t.g

I guess the only person who can love you and respect you infinite is you yourself. So I guess one should love him/her-self first .In order to be loved by others he/she should know they are capable to be. Amazing poem Mk.t.g

'love' is an interesting thing, unfortunately you can't really define it in the simplest of ways.. But, it is among other things selfishness... Yes, because people expect it in return. It's no biggie since we're not talking about material things... Just the acts and words of kindness that let someone feel like they're special.

In another sense, it's selfless because you give all you can and do everything within your power for that other person.... And that will still be the case after the emotional high is long gone, and blind admiration is replaced by understanding...

There are many layers to the stuff, from the simplest chemical trick to get us to mate and reproduce to overheated infatuation to the most complex web of emotions and thoughts.
