I won't leave

I won't leave

A Poem by Mk.t.g
"

It is about a person desperately trying to tell the other, that even if someone gives him a hundred reasons to leave him, he won't do it. It talks about eternal friendship or love.

"
Knowing you more
cost me so much
but like I told you
I won't back away

Even if the sun won't shine
and the stars won't align
and when you look at me
with those distrustful eyes
I wont back away
even if it costs me my whole life

Cos I treasured you
And I loved you
and I wont leave you
Cos … that's leaving me
and I wont leave me
not till you leave me

I want a review on what could be improved here, and if the stanzas have some mistakes in connecting with each other.

Okay, I think if you are going to use the word I .. then you should be consistent in the way you use it .. and not use i & I .. I also think your final stanza could do with some tweaking ,, maybe lose the ... 's .. good luck :)

I like the concept here, I think my biggest comment is that it feels almost too overstated and that takes away a little of its impact. Like the whole, 'it cost me a million bucks' thing, maybe I'm just more drawn to realism and it's personal preference but did it really cost a million dollars or were there maybe just a lot of reasons to make a different choice? But then I'm torn because the building on it in the later lines where it becomes billion and trillion also kind of works. I just think that (once again if it were me), I would maybe make it something slightly different so it doesn't kind of come of like one of those rap songs where they're just boasting about lots of expensive things that you know isn't their real life (not the best comparison, but hopefully it makes sense).
Other than that, I think it's a beautiful sentiment. Sometimes staying is a whole lot harder than leaving.
