PIT OF MY HEART

Pit bulls are so misjudged, They aren't mean, they don't want to fight. It's not their choice. They don't get to make choices. They either die disobeying their master or try and save their own lives. It's not the pit bulls that are fighting, it's the stupid people who fight them. How would they like it if I put them in a pin and let them fight to the death? I don't think so. 

Would humans do the same to children? Think about it. You put two pit bulls in a pen and let them fight to the death. it's okay right? You put to children in a pen and let them fight till one dies. It's wrong isn't it? Yes, they are both wrong. Nothing like that is  ever right. And it never will be.

If humans weren't around to fight them. I'm almost positive that when you would put two pits in a pen together, It would be like two butterflies Fluttering around trying to see who can get to the other side faster. So take out the pens, take out the people, and take out the money.. what are you left with? Nothing. If you take out all the fighting arenas, they don't have anywhere to fight them. If you take away the money. You are left with people with pits. Take away the people and you are left with a dog. One harmless dog that needs some love.

Just think about all of those pit bulls you see in the shelters. It's not their fault that they are there. They just tried to escape it all. Tried to NOT  die. So next time you go to your local shelter. Adopt a pit. Don't think of it as a dog with a bad reputation. Think of it as another lonely homeless dog in the shelter, that needs love and affection, and just a little time to get used to it's new life. Just give them a chance.
