Prologue: A Dim Light

Prologue: A Dim Light

A Chapter by Alexis

May 19th 2016:
I sat and watched the sun rise. Then I watched fall into the ocean. The sizzle of the sinking sun intimidating me. Making my world feel dark inside and out. But it wasn't just the sun that turned my light's off. My family did. They would see my feeling's dimming down and take advantage of it. Just like an old light they tried to fix me, change me. Only to find it works, that is, for a while then it starts to dim again. This time they try again but give up. My story is just like that poor old light. All dusty and broken. And it can not be fixed this time. There will be no more light to go around. Just darkness.
