The ancient end for prophecies

The ancient end for prophecies

A Story by neurostar burns

Prophecies from the past are often taken as  far seeing and fortune telling. At least that is a common impression taken from them.
However, reviewing this slant on prophecies may not hold up foretelling. This is evident, if not the first time, with what had transpired between Europeans when traveling to the new world. In some recorded cases for some native american peoples which were present during the emigration of caucasians to the new world, it was unfulfilling disaster.
Because some natives had in their lore that white visitors would come amongst them and there would follow an amazing transformation with their presence. When Europeans did arrive among these nations they were treated with royal expectations. No matter what the Europeans did to the native groups, they allowed it with expectations which were based on their ancient lore that was passed down. Alas, their expectations that were anticipated did not come to fruition, often the opposite outcome which spelled doom to such nations.
So is learned the lesson on relying on prophecies and alleged potentials as being not reliable or fruitful.
