This whole world shook for nine daysA Story by neurostar burnsIt is recorded, and a story from the magazine "Science" carried it. In 2023 an event from Greenland shook the world for nine days. Data from at least one site on Greenland indicated that 25 million cubic meters of rock and ice broke free and crashed in a narrow fjord. Such rockslides are called seiches. The impact of so much material on a narrow fjord was like ringing a small bell. The vibration had no where else to go but outward. The vibration effect impacted the entire world for the length of nine days. Some declare this to be just and example to expect from global warming. Similar events can be found around the ice packs of the south pole.
