COSMOGONY

A Story by neurostar burns

                                                         COSMOGNY  [II]
1. Q.   Is there a distinct beginning?

     A.   Viewing from reality, there may not be a distinct beginning or point of origin.
Viewed from reality, for some thing to be ascertained, it has                                      to be detectable.  For some thing to be detectable, it usually first must be                perceivable or made to be perceivable in a composite presence.

Hence, from a composite source, a singular, distinct point cannot be                          considered as an indication of origin because for it to be known it must be  b              brought into presence for a detecting conscious to act upon it. Like a flame                cannot be  perceived prior to it presence in total darkness until the proper                combination of composite conditions converge to make an initial spark, e.g.              air, conflagrate chemicals, sustainable fuel.

Thereupon, the "Big Bang", for example, however infinitesimal  its start may              have purported to have been, it needs the composite coordination of                        conditions for it to have occurred. Until those conditions are brought forth,                like peering  into total darkness. one cannot anticipate whether these will be            a spark until it actually ignites. Likewise, , when the conditions that                          appearance is dependent upon either don't occur or expire, then the effect                cannot be ascertained, as  when the fuel of the fire is not there then the                  flame cannot be perceived.

Likewise, for something to detect some thing, there must be the composite               capacity of some thing to detect certain characteristics of some other                       presence, completely or incompletely, e.g. we don't normally detect all the               elements of the "sky" like x-rays, ultraviolet, etc.

Perhaps, if the grand complexity of the composite universe were not                         perceivable, there would be none to wonder and speculate upon, or if there               were no being with the complexity of brain and chemicals, there would arise             no intrigue. Without those conditions, perception and knowledge and                         speculation would not arise or even be inferred much less assumed.

The above is largely an empirical assessment and may not in itself provide                 the final validity of the presence of the knowable universe. This will be                      borne below.
