Social Anthropology:
When one stops to think one may find that the prominent 'gods' most supported are lowland gods on this planet "firma". By our known stories, one does not find legends or lore of large scale depicting gods of world significance abiding in the ice lands, glaciers and frozen wastes becoming global celebrities. Those that have been and are currently broadly supported are those that arose in lowlands, like the Nile, Indus, Ganges, Brahmaputra, Jordon and Canaan, Yangtze valleys and rivers. There is where populations of multitudes could launch support for ideas. The homaged [human]ones did not have to survive on ice sheets or frosted atmospheres to test their mettle. Why these environments do not engender great beings to be followed may be open to speculation. For "omniscience", there is no recording of a great one claiming to know of a great piece of land tens of thousands miles long, now known as the western hemisphere on this very same, small globe. It can be worthwhile to stop and look closely and think.
