Battle of the sexes? ? A case of "natural selection"?

Scientists of Denmark have determined that people born of not recent African descent may find that the X chromosome of the females have a higher chance of the men's Y chromosome being sabotaged and their Y chromosome eliminated. It is aligned with meiotic drive, according to mass study by Terkelsen of Aarhus University. .

The people without African descent are found not to exhibit much diversity. Apparently the X chromosome does not match up readily with that condition and so may jettison the Y chromosome, a case of sweep signature. This suggestively, may have had an affect on the durability of the Neanderthal longevity in Siberia, the scientists offered. Hence, the Neanderthal gene was eventually weakened and displaced by certain X chromosomes. The killer X chromosome, (a mutation?) appeared on the scene in Siberia some 50 thousand years ago but due to apparent low natural resistance from the Y chromosome it spread out. This situation may not be confined to just Siberia. More detailed study is needed to verify the actual phenomena.

A report released close to New Year 2023 from University of Hokkaido, Japan

states a study on that the vanishing Y chromosome may be replaced via the X

chromosome. Indications in the study show that the X chromosome may be forming or mutating a "proto-Y chromosome" which would presumably replace the currently diminishing Y chromosome .
