Challenge: good bye Cosmic Inflation?

Challenge: good bye Cosmic Inflation?

A Story by neurostar burns

New paper as of November 3, 2022.  Paper published by Sunny Vagnozzi and Abraham Loeb have worked out an early universe scenario which would not include a exponential cosmic inflation. If the cosmic graviton background (CGB) is verified, then there will be no need to posit inflation, which was just a theoretical fill-in from the 1970's to help explain a hypothesis on the rise of the universe which has some sense.
(one may also recall the term "inflation" is borrowed from the time of the 1980's while inflation was then a financial issue and is not directly associated with astronomy.)

In total sum, the authors say that if the graviton background is would displace the idea of cosmic inflation as the contributing factor of cosmos growth at the start, and one author says it would go a ways toward explaining the structure of the universe arsing from quantum fluctuations.
