All Hail Andromeda, the galaxy which may have 1 trillion stars. Even though most science indicates that the collision of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies are still a future, distant occurrence of over 4 billion years. Recent, highly sensitive instruments with Hubble observatory now show that it is already underway. According to highly sensitive ultraviolet readings, the halos of the two galaxies are already detected as intermixing.
