Right again

Right again

A Story by neurostar burns

So once again in the backwaters of decades ago there was a science challenge. How long ago did modern humans settle in the North American continent. After studying several archeological entries, while still in school, and following the variety of migration paths, I decided it would stretch back some 30,000 years. Pooh poohed, the trained experts, and teachers following in lock step insisted that in the 1980's or earlier that the evidence instead pointed to a weak 13,000 years ago. I wondered how the migration over adverse distances could have progressed so fast, especially to the southern end of South America. Nevertheless, I continued to watch developments with interest.

At long last, again, there is admitted archeological evidence that migration entering the North American continent could well be older than 18,000 years with collections of several stone tools in evidence. Still working with stone tools, the emigration could well now extend back to 33,150 years. Some reports are found in "Nature". A variety of modern experts have delved into this challenge, Ciprian Ardelan and Lorena Becerra-Valdivia are working hard to bring updates to light. Thomas Higham of U. of Oxford are collecting from 42 sites including from Siberian territories and North America.

Ahh, the rapid pace of progress! So quite a few decades later my hunch is being confirmed. So quick.

It amazes many people how much contributions are overlooked by the establishments and their locked in screening of offered material.
