Dark Energy-what?

Dark Energy-what?

A Story by neurostar burns

Dark Energy is a nature that influences the universe.

Many scientific postulations have been put forth to explain it, apparently none have proven fully effective. There is some interaction with gravity but that does not explain how it came about.

The purpose of this post is to gain information on how Dark Energy (DE), negative pressure, is generated. It exists, so there must be some clues how it came about. This may be obtained over time, not just this entry. Whatever is obtained toward this end will be added to this post.  Although DE seems to currently be depicted as monolithic and said to be of the 'Dark Sector', there must be clues as to how it is generated. One common science association with DE expansion/acceleration is of 'empty space'. It is said that energy of empty space is like packets with stored energy which produce more of them and hence the expansion appears to be self generated.

Some recent studies indicate that the strength of its presence may have fluxed over the duration of universe. Has the 'repulsive energy' always been the same throughout? Could it also be it that there is a very subtle interface? Perhaps some evidence of DE may have been mistook and attributed to it from some other phenomena. A lot still  needs to be sorted out since its [centuries belated] discovery in 1997-8.

a) By another format:

There is, in some science corners, a lot of recent discussion about the relation of the size of the universe and how it has expansion. A few say there are means by which the universe is circumvented beyond what we ordinarily detect. It is not very detectable due to subtlety, like so many other natures being discovered. (Baryonic matter comes along later.)

One important factor toward this determination is R. The Ricci scalar has an undeniable influence, especially since the acceleration and DE are closely associated in geometric development of this field.

One particular consideration casts influence on what basically produces the shape of the universe. By some, it is termed "supercurvature". It presents another format, not used, by which the universe's morphology is sculpted by a flexible curvature, instead of other proposals. Whereupon Dark Energy is already in its nonmaterial field. This may be effective in an almost flat de Sitter space.*
