Milky Way Galaxy Swallowed

Milky Way Galaxy Swallowed

A Story by neurostar burns

Where are your eyes? Do you see it?
The Milky Way galaxy, which is one of the largest known in the cosmos, is swallowed by one huge void. And it is trying to escape at an amazing speed, the whole thing. The void is one of the 5 biggest known in the cosmos, maybe even top three.
A follow up study by Brent Tully, who found this void back around 1997 called Local Void or Tully's void, has indicated the Milky Way is indeed in the grips of influence of this astounding cosmic void that is 4 million light years away and is 250 million light years across. An earlier interview including Tully was published in Oct. 2018.
It is said even the local galaxies, like other matter, tend to attract and aggregate while where there is less then it becomes underdense and matter dissipates and thins out into voids.
The recent report notes, "They may find that Milk Way and Andromeda deviate from the overall cosmos expansion  by 1.3 million mph or 600 km/sec"
"Galaxies not only move with the overall expansion of the universe, they also respond to the gravitational tug of their neighbors and regions with a lot of mass."
