Mind breaking sub atomic particle!A Story by neurostar burnsThe universe is said to be measured at 14 billion years old. The sub atomic particle decay captured is believed to occur once in a 1 trillion years. Very rare occurrence! It would be a feather in the cap for the standard model of particle physics. The project is working to capture something of even rarer occurrence, but they snagged this with the immersed Xenon. They found the half life of Xenon-124 decaying into Tellurium to be an astounding 1.8x 10 to the 22nd power, or 18 sextillion years, much longer than the life of the universe. They worked on a neutrino double electron This is the result of 160 scientists working below the surface at Gran Sasso National Laboratory, Italy working on dark matter detection. Their report is published in the journal "Nature", 4-24-19.
