Light-any which way but loose!

At  the College of Optics and Photonics of University of Central Florida, scientists have manipulated light pulse to go 30 times faster, or slower, or go in reverse without using material as a medium. They utilized a special light modulator, according to Estat Kondakci and Ayman Abouraddy.
