How to get a curved universeA Story by neurostar burnsThe persistence of curvature is very present on this planet and others. Many things are found to be round or with curves. Regarding the universe, there seem to be schools that favor flatness and some favor curvature. Some may favor positive curvature like a cylinder or an open curvature. How could this come about? Currently, quite a few trace the concept of morphology of the universe back to the ordained priest, Lamaitre. After Einstein's works, Lamaitre models a universe that arises round like from an egg or ball or ball of fire, concentric. Some scientists have modified it, it seems, to be like a tiny point. Presumably, a point would have the geometry of being round. Other scientists point out from their studies, that the universe is flat. Only gravity caused by the presence of a mass curves the local area. Like a plasma or flat dough but when mass or something occurs on it then it bends like dough receiving and developing an impression. So now there are postulates of at least three on the morphology of the unlverse. Was the Big Bang "big"? Many scientists think it was quite small. So small that it was at risk of not developing enough to become distinct from its background. A point could be smothered. And if the cosmos started perhaps by a blast of repulsive energy, which still influences the expansion, around then how is it that it is now measured flat? According also with advocates, the point could have been at risk of not succeeding by itself. Its existence apparently is secured by a closely following "hot" inflation, according to some. Perhaps the Big Bang or what ever the inception was not confined to only a tiny, vulnerable point but rather more scattered out (recent observations indicate that the very early stars are scattered in location and do vary in development) and from that it could develop to a flat geometry. But in turn, could that flatness be made into a curved or slightly curved universe? If the background of the cosmos could be made analogous to the flexible but flat dough, then the said dough could stretch out flat but like having a roller or a pizza pie, at the ends as it were, the edges may have leeway, because of fewer constraints back then, to curve. In physics, there is a quandry of such a roller impacting development on the magnitude order of 120 which certainly could flatten out anything at the beginning or early on in its development. There are postulations which advocate for a bubble cosmos. It would be assumed that such a condition would continue overall unchanged in morphology as round. It is said there is a lot of detecting and mapping of stars and galaxies. If they collect enough optic or visible information then they should be able to map out whether the outer regions of the universe indicate conclusively that there are groupings of galaxies and stars which are spherical or flat in morphology. There presently are many such endeavors under way. Note: the material herein is not necessarily a reflection of entropy of current societies.
