Primitive instincts like Neanderthal?

Primitive instincts like Neanderthal?

A Story by neurostar burns

Neanderthal is a term that is currently associated with a distant past. Some science holds that some of those traits are interwoven with Homo Sapiens.
Comparing current motivations and instincts, there may be a case of carry over.
The Neanderthal is noted for having a larger cranium, Homo Sapien's is smaller.
Neanderthal evidently spent a lot of time in caves or primitive shelters, perhaps not so much time outside or on savannahs. There is observable evidence, despite passage of time and additions of technology, we also tend to build shelters, building no matter what part of the world we reside. Yet it is recorded that other societies live  comparatively in the open and not all dominated their societies with structured  buildings.
There may be carry over. Along with issues of protective cover, also arises the issue of confined space, partition, and protecting the possessions. Such similar behavior may have precedent carried over from Neanderthal societies.
Tribalism was common in the past, and currently. Rather than develop a more universal sharing of the world, there are tendencies showing up of tribalism identities, preferences preferred over generalities and there is defense of home ("my castle"), family first over any other priority, and bunker mentality, and obsessive fixations that are socially promoted and clung to. Yet, we currently have a wider array of living options than Neanderthals did which, on a whole, should not to be fraught with over cautious means. So something from the distant past does nevertheless come through to present behaviors.
Not much different than what is depicted of older Neanderthal societies. The savannah survival styles  and living along with nature harmoniously seem ignored or passed over in comparison. Wider spread of altruism, although accessible, appears inhibited beyond certain social parameters and mores. Widening social awareness roles and altruism are perceived by some people as intrusive and at times opening up vulnerabilities.
It appears that despite certain types of advances in the modern societies, older instincts arise in circulation of exhibited behavior traits.
Note: the material herein is not necessarily a reflection of entropy of current societies.
