Lands of Milk and Honey-today?A Story by neurostar burnsSome canonical literature states there are promised lands of milk and honey. How do some of those lands that have been accessed by humans appear today? It may appear that the nature of milk and honey is changed. Some of these locations seem changed from the original state by those they were promised. Today, it would probably be very hard to find milk and honey in any abundance. Instead, the lands appear to be paved over and over developed. Further, the natural lands that could provide some nourishment cannot, due to the ever usurping imposition and displacement by paving over the land or overdevelopment. Arable lands are disappearing. It could be said then that such wardens of the lands have not done a good job conserving those "cherished", promised lands. Or why would there be "promised lands"? There still are billions and billions of microbes, flies, bacteria. Note: the material herein is not necessarily a reflection of entropy of current societies.
