FIREBIRD! Watch Out!

FIREBIRD! Watch Out!

A Story by neurostar burns

A most amazing story! Birds of fires and blazes.
A growing collection of reports which started in recent years in Australia, e.g. bini, and now spreads to other continents of birds that swirl into fires and then spread them. And are PHOTOGRAPHED!
It has been consistently observed that some Kites, Falcons and similar birds do fearlessly swoop into a blaze or wildfire only to pick up fiery twigs and carry them over to a spot that has no fire and then drop the fiery twig. Then they hover or fan the flame which burns the land. Ostensibly, this is to assist with flushing out their prey. Hence, the feathery kind have been using fire as an exploitive tool.
Only to find stories of workers fighting wildfires outflanked by fire not because of leaping or wind blown flames but rather they witness the birds swooping into the fire and pull out a burning twig and carries it to another unburned area or other side of the road where there is no fire and then drops the burning twig which may start another fire spot. It may happen this practice will surround the unwitting firefighter and they unbeknownst find theirselves  trapped.
Further! The bird genus (genius?) has been around millions of years before humans. They may well have been practicing carrying/spreading fire for all that time.
