No universe! disCERN this:A Story by neurostar burnsAccording to a recent release in October 2017, scientists working on Baryon-Antibaryon Symmetry Experiment (BASE) in Europe with CERN who have been working on charge parity of particles for years have found the most recent result of their long experiments indicate that there should be no universe. Attempting to determine what combination of charge may have brought about our universe has ended in an impasse. Antimatter-matter proportions measured with extreme accuracy, like mapping the earth down to 4 centimeter distances, have found antiproton-proton ratio proportions are equal and even overlap. This means they are being totally symmetrical. There is no imbalance of quantities of antimatter and matter, contrary to what was before held. In short, it is believed for a universe to form with inhomogeneous instabilities we currently observe, there must be some aberrations or asymmetry in antiproton-proton ratios. The most recent result indicates none. Therefore, such a universe as we know it could not develop, said team leader Christian Smorra Is this in keeping with Planck 2013 results which implied the universe must be smooth even before development? If this new finding holds, then will physics have to be adjusted and rewritten? Both claims as they stand are irreconcilable. From another view, it is said our overall information of the cosmos is based on the standard model. Yet with this, Warner Rodejohann of the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Germany says, "it is somewhat embarrassingly, our theories suggest nothing should exist.'
