Universal oddsA Story by neurostar burnsA conjecture not often seen today regarding the universe but has precedence has to do with the nature of expansion. This is keeping in mind that it is said there is an initial expansion in the history of the cosmos currently typified as the hot inflation and that some scientists depict a second expansion apparently driven by Dark Energy, which is described as monotonic. Given there are at least these two expansions that were not earlier foreseen and that the natures of both are not well understood, would there be any nature or force of the cosmos that would spawn yet another expansion or even more? Already there are at least two expansions detected within a century, as opposed to none, can it be precluded that there would not, in the long story of the cosmos, be more? And perhaps, these expansions occur by different natures not shared with each other. As far as cosmic expansion goes, there is plenty of room for that. For such notable events in the ever widening cosmos, there seems to be plenty of combinations possible for another expansion, like SFS, phantom energies, expanding vacuums, not to mention ever expanding voids which are millions of light years across. There is likely tracing these to the situation of pressure, energy density (p) and Equation of State (EoS) are involved as factors that are found with these phenomenon. They may not need a complexity of conditions for them to arise, as in contrast with a lot of other occurrences assumed in this cosmos, and may be more subtle. A factor that shows up here that seems to allow the occurrence of some of the potential natures is having weak gravity. Is there unrecognized interaction among the factors? One might pause and note most of the expansion on the macro scale occur as force(s) that are not influenced by gross elements like matter. Their nature would probably strike us as very subtle or unseen, regarding direct evidence, as are a great many phenomena of the universe. Are these forces now among us or are yet to develop? A different focus on the nature of the cosmos would be needed to make progress in this light.
